Please remember that, as of March 1, 2012, the State Health Plan will no longer accept paper applications for benefits enrollment. Corrections or adjustments that need to be made after you review your bill should be made electronically in either eBN or BEACON. If corrections or adjustments are outside of the allowed timeframes in eBN or BEACON you will need to follow the exceptions process. This effort includes any billing reconciliation corrections. The change will feed automatically to Blue Cross and Blue Shield of North Carolina and the changes will be reflected on your next month's bill. If you do not pay as billed, it is important that you note on your bill the changes that were entered electronically. BCBSNC will then be able to ensure that all changes were made correctly in both systems.
