Charlotte-Mecklenburg Governmental Retirees Association
Next Meeting is October 24
Join the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Governmental Retirees’ Association on October 24 for its bi-monthly meeting!
How well do you sleep? Has your sleep pattern changed? Our October 24th program will provide information and answers about sleep. Loula Kontoulas is a psychotherapist with Levine Cancer Institute. She is a two-time cancer survivor herself and has worked in oncology for nearly 7 years. Prior to that, she worked at IBM and ran a small business. She became interested in sleep upon discovering that most cancer patients had trouble sleeping –sometimes due to cancer but often times their sleep disturbances pre-dated cancer. She has been trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Insomnia. She will include information on this treatment method , as well as general information about sleep and strategies for helping you sleep better!
DO RETIREES HAVE TALENT?
Do we have talent amongst us? Do you sing, dance, play an instrument, tell jokes? if you have a talent and are willing to display it, let me know! I am casting for talent for a possible future program!!
